Marlowe Mcqueen Music Studio is a guitar school specialising in high quality guitar, bass guitar and ukelele lessons. The focus lies on giving every student a positive learning experience with noticeable progress each month.
As a student you can expect to receive expert coaching from a professional teacher, with feedback and unique insights not to be found on Youtube nor at other music schools.
If you or your child have never touched a guitar before then you are also in the right place! Lessons are open for all ages and abilities, and it’s important to start learning the guitar the right way so you can get the maximum enjoyment from your instrument.

Song workshops & band coaching
Take your skills further with the Den haag song workshop and band coaching sessions
The Den Haag Song Workshop is a monthly gathering for students and amateur musicians to get together and make music.
Each session focuses on a different song by a well-known artist and takes a deep dive into its various elements like structure, melody, chords, production and more. The goal is to walk away with a deeper understanding of the song in question, and in so doing develop your musicality in general. This builds on the core concepts of our music studio: That the best way to learn is to play real music, learn from the greats and from each other.
The Song Workshop is organised through Meetup, a website for organising events. Anyone can sign up and see the past events here. Sessions typically take place once a month at Musicon, Soestdijksekade 345, Den Haag.
Band coaching is also available for students who want to learn how to play with others in a band. Each member of a band has a role, and these are explored in-depth as we build a repertoire for a concert. Feel free to enquire about this via the contact form.
