A four-piece acoustic band consisting of shared vocals, fiddle, guitar, double bass and washboard/cajon, the Greenfield String Band takes you on a journey through the Appalachian mountains, the Scottish highlands, the Nordic fjords and far beyond. Think fiery fiddle tunes, storytelling songs and brooding ballads, arranged with an element of surprise!

An intimate yet swinging duo of vocals and guitar, performing bossa nova and jazz repertoire of today and yesterday. The ongoing project Ola Brasil listens specifically to Brazil’s great songwriters such as Antonio Carlos Jobim & Vinicius de Moraes, Luiz Bonfa and Jorge Ben. Here we try to bring the featherlight rhythms of Brazilian music to European shores, basing our arrangements on the originals but exploring new possibilities. Alongside this we play a range of standards from the Great American Songbook, taking inspiration from some of our favourite artists like Ella Fitzgerald & Joe Pass, Nat King Cole and Kurt Elling, to name a few.
Our duo could be the addition to your event, be it a party, dinner or otherwise. We can bring all our own equipment, set up quickly and create a warm atmosphere. We just need a power outlet and a few metres of space. We’re comfortable in the spotlight or as a background accompaniment.
